Origin: India.
Source & Extractions: Steam distilled leaves and young twigs 

Characteristics: Has a camphoraceous odour and woody-scent undertone.

Aromatherapy Uses:

Skincare - Treats burns, blisters, cuts, herpes, insect bites, insect repellent, lice, skin infections, wounds.

Mind - A stimulant, helps remove exhaustion and mental sluggishness, provides relief from stress and mental disorders. 

Body - Treats colds and flu. Helps alleviate respiratory issues like asthma, bronchitis, congestions, coughs, sinusitis and throat infections. Relieves muscular pain, poor circulation, rheumatoid arthritis and sprains. 

Home - Use as an Insect repellent, deodorant, cleaner, stain remover.

Blends well with Cedarwood, chamomile, cypress, geranium, ginger, grapefruit, juniper, lavender, lemon, marjoram, peppermint, pine, rosemary, and thyme.


Non-toxic, non-irritant (in dilution). For external use only.

Always dilute essential oils before applying to the skin and keep away from mucous membranes. Never use essential oils undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children.

Before using topically, perform a small patch test on your inner forearm by applying a small quantity of diluted essential oil. Wash the area if you experience any irritation. If no irritation occurs after 48 hours it is safe to use on your skin.
