Sweet Basil Essential Oil is a wonderful oil to clarify and awaken the mind and body while strengthening the immune system. It is known to ease minor skin irritations, cramps, joint pain, muscular aches, spasms, gout, flatulence, and exhaustion. It also protects against infection, reduces water retention, and stabilises irregular menstruation.

CHARACTERISTICS
Has a powerful, warm, sweet and spicy herbal aroma reminiscent of the scent of liquorice.

Skincare - Sweet Basil essential oil eases minor skin irritations and is excellent for insect bites and as an insect repellent.

It is also said to enhance immune function, protect against infection, reduce water retention, and stabilise irregular menstruation.
Hair-care - Add Sweet Basil essential oil to your favourite shampoo or conditioner to cleanse, refresh, hydrate, soften, and strengthen your hair.
Home - Use Sweet Basil essential oil as a diffuser—insect repellent. Eliminate odour-causing bacteria.
BLENDS WELL WITH
Rosemary, Lime, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Clove Bud, Geranium, Grapefruit, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Clary Sage, Eucalyptus and Neroli.
CAUTION
Relevantly non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitising.
Avoid during pregnancy.
Always dilute essential oils before applying them to the skin and keep them away from mucous membranes. Never use essential oils undiluted.
Please do not take them internally unless you are working with a qualified and expert practitioner.

Before using topically, perform a small patch test on your inner forearm by applying a small quantity of diluted essential oil. Wash the area if you experience any irritation. If no irritation occurs after 48 hours, it is safe to use on your skin.
