The art of gentle face care - part two

  • Anat Edwy

Skincare is confusing! There's an abundance of skincare companies with a multitude of products; the options are endless, and so are the promises.

Let's cut to the chase. Your skin needs to feel healthy and rejuvenated, and you need to feel good about yourself. We all know that healthy glowing skin makes us feel young, fresh and confident.

Let me tell you something about myself-

I've lived in a scorching and humid country for most of my life. I've been applying moisturisers from a young age because waking up in the morning and feeling as if my skin was about to break was a constant struggle. My skin was always dehydrated. I didn't know what I was applying on my face was the wrong kind of skincare, full of nasty ingredients like petroleum, parabens, artificial preservatives and artificial fragrances.

Only years later, I learned about safe and natural ingredients, so I started mixing serums for myself and making moisturisers and creams with excellent results. But then I found wholesome oils that can be used by themselves without mixing them to have great results; those oils have a long shelf-life, are edible and can provide all the nutrients and goodness needed for my skin. So I stopped mixing and started using these oils on my face and never looked back.

Oil on my face?

Before the invention of cold creams, moisturisers and lotions, people worldwide applied all types of oil and fat to their faces - like olive oil In the Mediterranean.
If you haven't tried applying oils to your face, you should! Because your skin will look and feel better. Oils have a naturally gorgeous, skin-comforting texture. The right oils are easily absorbed, your face will glow, and you will probably need less makeup and fewer skincare items altogether.

It's All Good face oils.

It's All Good face oils have been thoroughly researched. They've been used for generations, and because of their abundance of vitamins, minerals and unique balance of omega fatty acids, they are considered beneficial for all skin types.

The study revealed that 95% of the participants showed a reduction of up to 45% in wrinkle volume after only four weeks of use!

The spectacular results are because Cacay Oil has a unique balance of natural properties, making it the best natural anti-ageing skincare.

Cacay Oil contains a bounty of nourishing nutrients and essential fatty acids:

  • Vitamin A - An antioxidant that activates the skin's natural renewal process, rebuilds skin tissue and reduces the appearance of wrinkles while keeping the skin supple and smooth.
  • Vitamin E - An antioxidant that helps to naturally protect, repair and replenish moisture levels in the skin from within.
  • Vitamin F - An antioxidant that consists of two fats - alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a member of the omega-3 fat family and linoleic acid (LA), a member of the Omega 6 family. Emu Oil (Dromaius Novaehollandiae)

Emu oil is a unique, odour-free, non-greasy oil with a rich, creamy consistency that contains a rare combination of powerful antioxidants with excellent benefits for skin, especially for dry and sensitive skin prone to dermatitis, eczema and allergies. In addition, it is considered the best skincare solution for people who suffer from Salicylate intolerance.

Emu oil is made from the fat of an emu, a flightless bird native to Australia. The oil has a unique combination of polyunsaturated fatty acids and has anti-inflammatory properties. It aids in skin repair, promotes faster healing, removes redness and swelling from the skin, improves the condition of ageing skin and regenerates skin cells. In addition, it may reduce pain and scarring on burns, blistering, sunburn and other skin injuries and removes the itch and sting of insect bites, allergies, heat rash and fungal infections.

Because it can penetrate muscle tissue and joints, Emu oil relieves the aches and pains associated with arthritis, rheumatism, sporting injuries, and tension-related muscular soreness.

Emu oil is naturally Salicylate free, making it the best skincare solution for people who suffer from Salicylate intolerance.

Salicylates are compounds naturally found in the plants we consume and apply to our skin. Salicylate acid is a common ingredient in skincare, shampoos, and other personal care products.
Salicylate intolerance, allergy or sensitivity is an under-recognised problem. Symptoms mirror those of more conventional allergies and include gut symptoms, asthma/breathing difficulties, skin rashes, and neurological complaints.

You may not even be aware that you have it, but your skin will tell you as it will be red, dry, itchy and highly sensitive, and you'll struggle to tame it using any skincare.

If you suffer from the symptoms mentioned above, Emu oil can be your best solution.
