Want to know the ultimate French women's skincare secret?

Micellar Water became a staple among French women, who started using it in the early 1900s. Back then, plumbing wasn't available everywhere, and the water in France was quite harsh on the skin, causing irritation and blemishes.
Micellar Water proved to be a gentler way to cleanse the skin than the hard Parisian water, and French women have been using it ever since.

So, what is Micellar Water?

Micellar Water is a gentle facial cleanser that removes sweat, makeup, dirt, and oil, while helping keep the skin clear and hydrated. It doesn’t require rinsing and uses a unique cleansing technology that sets it apart from traditional facial cleansers.

Micellar (pronounced my-sell-er) water combines purified water, hydrating ingredients, and natural surfactants. Surfactants are compounds that help lift and remove impurities from the skin. These surfactant molecules form tiny, spherical clusters of molecules with both hydrophilic (water-attracting) and lipophilic (oil-attracting) properties—called micelles.

When cleansing your face with Micellar Water, the micelles attract dirt, oil, and impurities, lifting them away from your skin's surface. As a result, Micellar Water provides excellent cleansing and skin-balancing benefits. Additionally, it is soap-free and alcohol-free, so it won't sting, irritate, or dry out your skin.

Micellar Water is a versatile product.

Thanks to its gentle formula and unique structure, it cleanses, tones, and balances the skin—all in one step. It's suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and reactive skin. We offer two types of Micellar Water:

1. Unscented, formulated for extremely sensitive skin, those with salicylate sensitivity or allergy, and anyone following a low-oxalate lifestyle.

2. Micellar water with Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil, ideal for all other skin types. This beautifully scented Micellar Water contains Geranium Bourbon, which helps balance oil production, promotes cell regeneration, and supports anti-ageing. It’s also said to aid in scar healing, boost immunity, and ease stress.

What should you use after cleansing your face with Micellar Water?

If you’re applying multiple layers of products, like sunscreen and makeup, we recommend using a Konjac Sponge for a more thorough cleanse, following the double cleansing method. To help reduce signs of ageing and promote healthier, more supple skin, follow with a Hyaluronic Acid Serum suitable for your skin type—Pure (Salicylate-Free and Low-Ox) Rose or Chamomile. Finish your routine with your choice of cream, moisturiser, or facial oil.
