Sustainable Bath Sponges

Sustainable Sponges are the only truly ecologically farmed sponges in the world. They are grown on organic farms in Pohnpei, Micronesia, by local farmers. Unlike other sea sponges that are harvested from the wild, farming Sustainable Sponges does not deplete wild sponge populations or damage coral reefs. Instead, sponges are sustainably grown from small cuttings attached to floating lines and left to grow for around two years before harvesting. Sustainable Sponges are 100% natural, and no harsh chemicals are used in the farming or cleaning processes.
